1
Get an original inspection — emissions may be
required depending on your county. We can direct you to an
approved inspection station.
2
Obtain a vehicle history report — shows liens,
accidents, and ownership history. Required for out-of-state
titles.
3
Bring your original out-of-state title — must be
the actual title, not a copy. If lost, you'll need a duplicate
from your previous state first.
4
Bring proof of Texas insurance — required before
a Texas title can be issued. We can also help you obtain Texas
insurance.
5
We handle everything else — Form 130-U, fees,
submission to the Tax Office. We make it easy.
If your out-of-state title shows a lien, you will need a notarized
Release of Lien from the lienholder before we can proceed. Call us
and we can walk you through this process.
